The Marketing Leaders - Andrea Tartaglia

Andrea Tartaglia, Founder & Director

Andrea is a marketing expert and renowned leader in international brand and franchise development, organisational design, marketing, sales and general management in the entertainment industry.  

Andrea joined The Walt Disney Company in 2006 as Vice President, Disney Publishing Worldwide, where he was instrumental in establishing the retail function for publishing in all international markets and developing the strategies to grow revenues at key accounts worldwide. In 2008, he moved to support the wider Consumer Products organisation setting up and leading the European Franchise Marketing team. In his subsequent role as Vice President & Managing Director, Franchise Management, Andrea Tartaglia was responsible for developing the cross-company strategies for Disney, Lucasfilm and Marvel's key franchises/brands in the EMEA region, up to the end of 2019.

Prior to joining Disney, Tartaglia was the Managing Director for Universal Pictures’ home video business in Spain and Portugal.  He also held the role of Vice President, International Marketing, Universal Pictures International, with responsibility over 26 markets. Prior to this, he held a variety of positions with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, in Italy and at the Regional office in London.

Nick Bottai, Founder & Director

Nick is an International marketing leader, passionate about people and inspired by technology. During his career, he has founded companies and associations, worked as an expert trainer in IT and Marketing and as a career coach and mentor. He is a genuine digital pioneer, starting to code to build websites whilst studying marketing in the 90s. Nick merged the two sides of marketing at the very beginning of the digital era.

Nick strongly believes challenges are the key to growth. Following this motto, during his career he has both developed marketing and branding strategies, built and led teams for a variety of industries (FMCG, Leisure, Manufacturer, tech, retail, service) in many countries, notably in the EU and the US. Every experience boosted some skills and discovered areas to improve. Nick decided to obtain a professional coaching qualification to raise his communication and personal skills (and because he was curious about hypnosis).

In a fast-changing world, Nick has focused on understanding the customer behaviour and market scenarios to tailor the strategies and adapt to the changes quicker than the competitors. For Nick, leading teams and developing successful strategies in and for different cultures has been the most exciting and formative experience.

Tom Newbould, Founder & Member of the Board

With over 20 years of marketing, digital, and e-commerce leadership experience and a tech-focused background, Tom’s experience includes being the CMO of Goldex, the world's first gold retail trading app, UK MD of one of Europe’s leading digital finance providers, 4finance, and CMO for several major online lending brands including Oakbrook and MYJAR scaling customer acquisition. This follows marketing leadership roles at NCG, Attends Healthcare, UK Online for Business, PwC and the BBC where his achievements include creating their first-ever digital soap.

Tom has led international marketing teams over both B2B and B2C with a proven track record of success in delivering sales growth, particularly in investor/private equity owned businesses scaling and expanding internationally.  

Tom has been a digital marketing expert speaker for a number of years specialising in marketing attribution and maximising ROI including serving as Chair at the Winning Digital Marketing Conference, and also leads the Fintech Marketing Association. Tom is passionate about delivering attribution solutions and improvements to ROI while always excited about delivering growth.
